Welcome to Our Lady Help of Christians. In February 2020 I had the great honour of being appointed the Parish Priest of this vibrant faith community. This coincided with the global pandemic when the whole country went into lockdown, this included a lockdown of this church. This was truly a challenging time not only for the health of our parishioners, but also the spiritual nourishment of the parishioners.
Not to be deterred I organised for the daily and weekend Masses to be broadcast via YouTube so that our faithful parishioners – in fact the whole of the world – would not miss out in participating in Holy Mass.
As soon as restrictions were eased and life began to return to normal, vibrancy returned to this community.
While times are still challenging, with God's help and participation and support of the community in the parish life, the outlook is encouraging.
As you can read from our Web Site we offer a lot of services to our parish community and I am here to help you in your spiritual needs as well as offer you guidance to the best of my ability. Where I am not able to assist you directly, I will do my best to point you in the right direction!
